Hi Everyone and Welcome! New News: September 29, 2006 - Happy Birthday Berk. Added a few pictures on the Cayman Islands page. Will add more once I get them saved at a lower resolution. July 9, 2006 - Happy Birthday Jason!!! OK, so I didn't make as big of a deal out of Jason's Birthday as I did Steph's. He'll get over it. Guys always do. Speaking of guys, how does this look? Look like two guys utilizing Bobcat to the fullest? So today, with Nick and Cam's help, we got the ground graded, and the holes for the cement piers dug. Nick is apparently a Bobcat genius. He could level K2 with enough time and diesel fuel (take THAT Sir Edmund Hillary ... yay for learning). But I digress. Today, Steph went to work before most people even thought about skipping church. I had to go, they're keeping tabs on me for this wedding stuff. So after church, we got to diggin' and chuggin' Gatorade like a freshman sorority girl trying to impress a 3rd string QB (Hey, don't make fun ... he at least scored a 21 on the Wonderlick ... What did Vince Young have? An 8? They give you 7 pts for just spelling your name right. What question did he get right? D.O.B?). In the end, we got to spreading some rock beneath where the deck will finally sit. Tomorrow, more rock, and perhaps a little concrete in my piers. The plan is to have everything ready for posts, beam and joists the day I come back from vacation. Anyone up for some BBQ? There's fillet mignon in it if you help! July 8, 2006 - Well, last night was a blast. We had a group of 18 go to El Vaquero a fine Mexican establishment in Wentzville. Stephanie became addicted to the cheese dip from this place at their location in Kirksville Missouri, home of Truman State University (where Steph was president of her nursing class and sorority and captain of their cheerleading squad .. yeah, I'm talking her up!). After stuffing our gullets, the girls opted to go to a less hossier bar than our standard watering hole. So we dropped them off at J. Bucks (named for the famed long time Cardinals broadcaster, Jack Buck) - speaking of the Cardinals, didn't they beat Houston today? I seem to recall having some Astro's fans in the family. The girls had a good time, and we came to pick them up a few hours later. After the girls enjoyed some time together and with other dudes I don't know (though Michelle was hitting on one of them), we headed back to the Sprucefield Lodge (that's what I would call my house if / when I get a kegerator in the basement) to as we like to say "burn shit". Steph didn't last too much longer, but that didn't stop Valerie, Michelle and her new friend Chris from keeping me company until 4:30 in the morning. This of course put our original plans a bit behind schedule. We did manage to pick up the Bobcat and get out to the river for a few hours in the sun. Even was able to get an old friend Chris Moore to join us. When we got home, there wasn't much to do except well ... play with the Bobcat. Tomorrow looks to be another day of excellent weather for taking dirt here and piling it up there. Sure I could have done this all by hand, but I didn't want my muscles to get too big ... you know ... didn't want to buy all new shirts to hold in the "the guns". July 7, 2006 - Put a few new pictures on the family pictures page. But most importantly, today is Stephanie's 25th birthday! So if you see her, give her 25 spankings and one to grow on. I think Todd owes her a shot or two across the buttocks for the River Beating he endured. Now that I think about it ... I might need to trade her in for a newer model before to long. Of course, she's probably thinking the same thing about me (she often points out the fact that I have 3 distinct gray patches of hair). Of course, if George Clooney can get all sorts of hot chicks, why can't I? Anyhow, Happy Birthday Steph! I'll love you even when you're gray! (we'll just dye it) Love, Tom Oh, and if you haven't taken a look at the links on the left, be sure to check out the hilarity that is on Todd's blog. Not to take anything away from Cameron, his is good to, but I have to give the recent creative verbage award to Todd.

Steph & I after a dinner out. Ariake Japanese Steakhouse was the location ... sort of like Benny Hanas (sp). Psst ... isn't my fiance super hot? How did I land her you ask? Non-stop badgering. It's a technique I learned as a child. Luckily, Steph couldn't ground me (as my parents would have), so she had no choice but to cave. Things couldn't have worked out better, who'd have guessed that my attractive girlfriend would quickly turn into the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. LOVE YOU BABY!

Me & Steph at our first Cardinals game together, and our first game in the new stadium. Sure we lost the game, but what a night and what great seats! Thanks Rich!
